This was a return client from years ago. Back in 2010, we transformed their house with a home performance retrofit. They called us back in 2021 to transform their basement into a delightful living space. We disassembled their sauna and relocated it, added a bathroom and some useful built ins. We added the two large windows in the main living space, which helps make the space feel like it’s not a basement, all new flooring, mechanical reconfiguration to clear up the ceiling and an artsy reclaimed beam wrap and stair screen. Basements can be untapped potential to expand the livability of your home in a big way.
