This quick remodel on a home in Beaverton, Oregon was quick, minimal but extremely effective.  We gave the railing a new look by wrapping the posts and capping the stairs ends with new, finely crafted millwork.  We then installed a high quality cable railing, which is strong, functional and practical.  The new flooring, cable railing and paint gave this room and stair a fresh new look in a quick project.  This project was an exercise in value engineering.  We think it turned out great.
